pretend and play diaper bag accessories

Did you notice my sad little Etsy shop over on my sidebar.  It's not much to look at right now, and I'm okay with that for the time being.

However, I've been fielding this question via e-mail, "When are you going to add a few pretend and play mail carrier sets and/or pretend and play doll bassinet/diaper bag sets to your Etsy shop?"

On the off chance that there are more of you wondering that here's my response:

First, I'm flattered by the question.  I appreciate that some of you would be interested in purchasing these sets as handmade gifts for your little ones.

Second, I'm not sure that I will be adding those sets to my Etsy shop.  I am willing to consider making these sets or the individual pieces in these sets on a custom basis for those who are interested.  However, I don't expect to add sets to the shop any time soon.

So . . . if you are interested, feel free to e-mail me and we can discuss the possibilities.

Now, on to my latest obsession . . . at the risk of stating the obvious, I get carried away with things.  If you are a new reader of twelve crafts, you might be under the impression that I announce my craft of the month and then proceed to immediately get started on it.  Uhm . . . that is not even close to what happens here.

What happens here is that I typically put off my craft of the month until the very last minute and get completely off track by obsessing about past crafts or completely unrelated projects.

And that brings me to the obsession . . . accessories for my pretend and play diaper bag and bassinet.  Of course, I started with just a doll bassinet in August.  Now, I am in the middle of September and what was supposed to be just a doll bassinet has turned into a bassinet and a diaper bag and . . .

. . . yep, little dolly diapers, diaper wipes, roll-up changing pads, and miniature taggies.

Here's a closer look:

Yikes . . . somebody stop me before I start creating an entire closet full of dolly clothes!

Craft on!

  4. If youre willing to do custom orders of the pretend and play - maybe you could set up a listing in your etsy for that - and thats how people order it through you. Only put in as stock the amount you could handle to make if you got them all at once and booya, then people have somewhere to register their interest. Just a suggestion. :-)

  10. Just darling as ever. I LOVE that wipe holder. How fun is that. Both my two were obessed with the toilet paper roll, the kleenx box, the baby wipe. It is just to tempting and fun I guess to pull that tissue or wipe and another pops up or keeps rolling along. This is a great solution for that. All the fun and none of the mess and waste:-)

I did for my daughter's bday in July.

I just made another one and looked if other person were actually selling those. Only one girl in etsy does...
Anyway! Just to say, yours and all the accessories are great!

  16. we are so alike in that way lol. i procrastinate to the end then its like i crash and get obsessive with the details. its like crafting isnt 'fun' unless i add everything under the sun. or i find the most difficult way to do something and then do that lol

i LOVE the whole kit and kaboodle with the play set. so very cute and original. im almost a pro at recreating )in my standards anyways) but i lack in originality. i thank you ever so much for posting this and sharing (however long it took you to finally do it haha) i will be making this for my neices. they are triplets. its hard to find gifts for them, and i dont want to make 3 of the same thing, BORING so this is perfect. a set they can all play with together. i LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

I cherish each comment! However, I can't respond to each comment anymore . . . I want to, but it's just not possible.

I will ALWAYS reply to a question though if your blogger account is set up to allow e-mail responses. If you ask a question and do not get a reply from me, it is because you are a no-reply blogger. Your best bet at a response then is to e-mail me directly.
