CONGRATS ladies!

Now for another sponsorship giveaway!

I love working with sponsors who have started businesses focused on handmade items.  The next best thing to making your gifts is buying handmade and supporting women and their families who have a dream and a passion for creating special gifts.

Christmas is around the corner, and I've spent the last ten months preparing for it and attempting to inspire you to prepare for it too.  Now, as we get closer to Christmas, I want to encourage you to either make at least one more gift or buy handmade.

If you are the creator of a blog that inspires handmade gift-making or a business that sells handmade items, I would love to work with you as well.  For the next six weeks I will be offering post sponsorships at $4 a post or $15 for an entire week of posts - which means that your button/advertisement will go on the bottom of posts that you sponsor.  In other words, your ad/button will be seen by everyone who receives my posts in a reader or e-mail. The last few weeks I've received a crazy boost in reader reach and e-mail subscriptions.  (Add an additional $5.00 for a spotlight post all about your business or blog.)

Contact me at twelvecrafts(at)gmail(dot)com if you are interested.

I'm giving away one sponsor post (which means your button/advertisement will go at the bottom of one of my tutorials) and 1 sidebar ad spot for a month.  (Open only to twelve crafts followers.)

You can enter to win by:
~leaving a comment below
~signing up to receive twelve crafts' posts in your e-mail inbox (Leave a comment telling me you did this or already receive posts by e-mail.)
~visiting any of the sponsors in the sidebar and leaving me a comment telling me what you liked most about their site.

**Giveaway ends Thursday, November 11 at 11:59 PM (CST).**

sponsor spotlight and giveaway: arise shine designs

I'm a big fan of bracelets and necklaces.  A beautiful bracelet freshens up an outfit.  An eye-catching necklace gives people a sneak peak into your personality and style.  That's why I've been having so much fun wearing by brand new bracelet from Arise Shine Designs around the last few weeks.

Rebecca, the creator of Arise Shine Designs, let me choose my own piece from her amazing collection.  When I saw the Mille Fiori Venetian Bead bracelet on her site, I knew right away it was totally me.  Paired with a Joy charm to remind me to choose joy daily . . . sometimes hourly . . . this little piece of jewelry is a source of inspiration.

I found a few other favorites on her site as well.

Rebecca's attention to detail and costumer service skills are amazing.  Keep Arise Shine Designs in mind for a truly special and inspirational gift this coming holiday season.

Rebecca is a true blessing to work with, and I'm so excited to call her a super sponsor of twelve crafts till Christmas.  I'm also excited that we are teaming up to give away two mini charm necklaces . . . that's right, I said that there will be TWO winners! Woo hoo!

The first winner selected will get to choose between these two mini charm necklaces:
Apple of My Eye mini charm necklace

super sponsor spotlight: the speckled dog

When I walk into a second-hand store, Goodwill or a consignment shop, I see nothing but old junk, tarnished trinkets and worn knick-knacks, but Kristi from The Speckled Dog sees a diamond in the rough on every shelf.

My fascination with The Speckled Dog began because of an eye-catching blog button months and months ago.  Check it out:

But my fascination continues because The Speckled Dog blog birthed The Speckled Dog Etsy shop which sells shabby chic decor, vintage finds and hand knit pieces.  Kristi has an eye for finding items that have potential.  She also makes beautiful hand-knitted hats.

Check out a few of my favs from her shop:

Shabby Chic Pedestal Bowl

Green Spiral Knit Hat

Vintage Green Glass Nesting Hen

(Okay . . . I just now realized that all my fav items from The Speckled Dog Etsy shop are green.  I honestly didn't realize that until I loaded them all into this post.  I apparently have an obsession with green!)

I'm so proud to call The Speckled Dog a sponsor of twelve crafts till Christmas.

Stop by The Speckled Dog blog for a little inspiration and The Speckled Dog Etsy shop for some one-of-a-kind gifts.

ad space giveaway

Did you see the new addition over under the super sponsors' box?

Congratulations goes to Susan, blogger behind Chasing Marcus and the creative genius behind The Felted Pear, for winning the ad space giveaway.

The Felted Pear is Susan's etsy shop.  She specializes in felt food that happens to be the most amazing felt food I have ever seen . . . and I consider myself a bit of a felt food connoisseur ever since Polly over at Helping Little Hands got me hooked.

So stop by and check out Susan's shop, but I warn you . . . you will leave her shop very hungry!

Shop Name: The Felted Pear

Shop Creator: Susan

Shop Focus/Products: The Felted Pear specializes in making fun, high-quality, safe and environmentally friendly felt food toys for children. I make a wide variety of food, including fruits and vegetables, groceries and main course entrees. You will even see the occasional sweet treat highlighted. I especially enjoy working with customers to create custom pieces that match their budding chef taste and brand preference. I use Eco-fi felt (made from 100% recycled plastic) and bamboo fiber stuffing (a renewable and sustainable fiber source) in effort to keep my food "green".

Date of Establishment: May 2010

Inspiration Behind Shop: It all started when I wanted to find an alternative to plastic play kitchen food for my daughter. In searching around to see what else was available, I came across a few links for felt food and was immediately hooked. Before long, my daughter had a full kitchen to play with and friends and family were making requests for food to give as gifts. I opened The Felted Pear to provide an alternative solution to plastic play kitchen food and to inspire young chefs to create healthy eating habits through imaginative play.

Congrats Susan!  And thanks everyone for entering.  Stay tuned for a little reduced rate ad offer good for a few weeks only.
