Hmmm . . . so let's get right to the point today . . .
I'm pretty sure that my crafting to blogging about crafting ratio right now is 1:100. That might be a slight over-exaggeration.
But whatever the actual ratio . . . I confess that lately I've spent more time blogging about crafting than actually crafting.
And in an effort to get my crafting mojo back, I've made a commitment to spend tonight crafting . . . not blogging about crafting.
What's your crafting to blogging about crafting ratio?
So that's that.

way to much time reading blogs about crafting as opposed to actual crafting. I have an excuse tonight though! No messing up the dining room with crafts since I have company for lunch tomorrow!
I do a lot of blog surfing, I just love all the crafts out there, specially Halloween. But! this weekend will be all about crafting, yeah!
You're so right! It's so easy to get sucked up. Especially when you see that super high number in the reader. I think - well, I better go through them now or that's only going to get worse. haha. :) Craft on!
Yeah, it's interesting...my blog has gotten me a lot more motivated to actually DO a lot of the projects that I've just been thinking about doing...but the blogging itself definitely slows that productivity...so I have to find the right balance. Lately, I've bent more toward the crafting and not blogging so much and I've gotten a lot more done...but of course then people don't hear about it...which is fine.
nothing is happening for me this week, it's school holidays, and I've got six at home (including the little boy!)
this close to christmas, though, i'm sure I'll start making up for it, I've got lots of plans to make gifts this year!
I have the same problem. I always want to post a blog, and I am always looking at other blogs, but I never actually craft. I hope I get into the groove soon. My TO-DO list for crafts is getting pretty long.
I am right up there with ya!
Haha, we must be on the same brainwave today (yesterday) -- I was just thinking the same thing! I think craft bloggers are kind of like sports writers in that way (vs traditional bloggers or reporters) -- you not only have to write about it, you have to DO it (craft it or go to the games), plus keep up on what everyone else is doing! It would be so much less work to either be a crafter or a blogger... but so much more fun to be both! My crafting and my blogging feed each other. I love crafting, but I craft more often since I've got a place to share it and people who care. :)
I get sucked into reading blogs, more than I craft or write in my own blog. Then I get lost in the never ending link to link to link......
Holy craft! Yes, I blog more than I finish a project, for sure. I feel like there is too much to do and not enought time in a day - know what I mean? :^)
I definitely know what you mean. I can spend hours looking at blogs and then I never have time to work on my own stuff. I keep an ongoing list of crafts I want to work on and I try to have one going at all times so I always have something fun to blog about.
