trading spaces with Meg from a little knick knack

We interrupt our regularly scheduled programming to trade spaces with Meg from A Little Knick Knack.  Check out some of Meg's great projects highlighted below.

Hello my favorite people in blogland!

I'm so happy to be here on Elizabeth's wonderful blog today. I'm so glad she wanted to do a swap with me. My name is Meg and I live over at A Little Knick Knack. I'm a midwest stay-at-home mom to 3 energetic young children and started my adventure in blogland just this year. I'm coming up on my 1 year anniversary, though---wow, how time flies! I love furniture rehabs and other fun crafty things and I hope you enjoy some of the things I have to share with you today!

This is my laundry room. Yikes! It has no drywall and it stores our furnace plus a myriad of junk.

Here is it after I de-junked and added some sheer curtains to hide the lack of walls. I also added several baskets for organization and some sanity.

This is such a fun and easy project that took us about 5 minutes to complete. We found the foam acorns and turkeys for 70% off at JoAnn's. Then, we used a hole punch to string them through a length of twine. It makes a fun Thanksgiving banner!

And finally, here are some random projects throughout my home that I love....

My book wreath

My spray-painted grapevine wreath with a mossy M monogram...

....and maybe my favorite renovation of all, my master bathroom. We painted the walls, added brand new fixtures, painted the cabinets, added drawer pulls and added the molding around the mirror. I love it!

I hope you guys can join my for a fun necklace giveaway going on now through Nov. 21 And, I also host a link party, Everything but the Kitchen Sink every Friday! Please join us!
