Julie Marie: cards and handmade goods
Advent Calendar Giveaway #3

Julie Marie crafts and blogs in her spare time.  You can find a few modern and simple (my two favorite things) in her Etsy shop, and you can find more creative inspiration from her at her blog Julie Ree.

One winner will receive a printable file for the Mod Trees Advent Calendar to help you create these cute little tree-shaped boxes to hold treats and goodies this holiday season.

Enter to win in four easy ways and a leave comment for each entry:
1) Be or become a twelve crafts follower.
2) Stop over at Julie Marie and find an time you like.  Then come back and tell me about it.
3) Heart the item that you like on Etsy.  (Do this by adding item to favorites on the shop sidebar.)
4) Leave a comment telling me what your favorite holiday treat is to eat.

**Giveaway end Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 10:00 PM (CST).  Winner will be sent the pdf file on Wednesday, December 1, 2010.

Remember this giveaway gives you what you need in a pdf file to make your own Advent Calendar.  You will not receive items already printed and assembled.

Tradition on!

My favorite holiday treat is a cookie called "stained glass windows". Basically, you use colored marshmallows and cover them with a chocolate concoction. After cooling you cut the logs they are rolled in to look like stained glass windows. They are yummy!

I love all chocolate, but my favorite treat on Christmas Eve is Chilli Dip. Start with a can of chilli - add grated cheese, browned ground meat, salt/pepper. You can make a meal out of it.

That's an hard question! Let's see there are the rabanadas (a kind of french toast but sweet), the bolo rei (the king cake, a cake with dried fruit), the pão-de-ló (a cake made with only flower, eggs and sugar), the sonhos (dreams, little hollow balls) and so much more!
